The pay is $15 per game. It is ok if you do not have experience, they will train you. Contact by calling or texting 269-214-0099. Students who plan to take classes with LMC in the fall, can sign up to take the Accuplacer test. The test will be offered here at the High School on May 3rd. at 9:30 am. If interested, sign up in the SSC. There is a limit of 20 testers.
The Accuplacer test is also available at the LMC campus most weekdays.
The 2022 prom will be held Saturday, May 7 at Lake Arvesta from 7 to 10pm. Tickets can be purchased during lunch from the prom commmittee. If you are brining an out of district guest the permission slips are due May 4. Students from South Haven, Bangor, and Covert public schools, and Van Buren Tech express their creativity and individuality through creativity and individual style for exhibit in a professional gallery setting.
Bring a box of tissues to the front office and Mrs. Jenks will remove 1 tardy per tissue box. You may bring a maximum of 3 boxes. Reminder: if you receive 10 tardies total during a semester you get a detention. Employers are starting to think about summer and have started sending us job postings for students. Flyers will also be added to the bulletin board in D Hall, next to room D101. ASAP is in Mr. Salyer's Room C101 from 2:30-3:30 p.m. this week. ASAP is an after-school program where students can get help with homework or if you need a place to go until 3:30. Check the bulletin weekly to see which teacher is hosting it for the week. Senior Exam Exemption Forms are available to pick up in the main office. They need to be completed and turned back in by May 13th. Attention Senior Class! Senior trip tickets will now be available for purchase starting today in the HS Main Office. Tickets will be $50 and can be paid for in cash or by check, payable to “South Haven Public Schools”. Tickets will be for sale until next Friday (4/29). The first 50 students to sign up and pay will have a guaranteed seat on the bus. If you have any further questions please contact Jacob Timmer. Senior Athletic Pictures are scheduled for Friday, April 29th during the school day. You should have received mail regarding this that would include your scheduled picture time. FAFSA submissions now received at the Federal processor on or before May 1, 2022 will be given priority consideration for the Michigan Competitive Scholarship and Michigan Tuition Grant.
Go to fafsa.gov to complete your application today! All transcript requests must be placed through Parchment. You can choose to have a self-view sent to yourself or select which colleges you would like your transcript sent to.

Athletics
Ram Power is SHHS' speed and strength program. It is open to all athletes in grades 6-12 of any gender. The weekly schedule is Monday, Wednesday & Thursday from 2:45- 4:00 pm in the high school weight room. Training is an essential ingredient to successful athletics. It increases speed, strength, confidence, and recovery time. Training also decreases the volume and severity of injuries. Athletes who want to get better are STRONGLY encouraged to attend. Questions can be directed to Coach Mark Eddy at meddy@shps.org.
